The usual hotspots
- Retention ponds: snakes, geese, otters
- Wood lines and preserve edges: raccoons, armadillos, foxes moving between cover and yards
- Dumpster and trash enclosure areas: raccoons and opossums drawn to a reliable food source
- Clubhouses and shared amenity buildings: attic and roofline access points that go unchecked longer than an individual home would
Why shared spaces are harder to manage
No single homeowner owns the problem, so a den under a clubhouse or activity around a dumpster enclosure can go unaddressed longer than it would on an individual property, until it becomes a pattern of complaints.
